About the Role

Websters Rural is seeking a highly skilled Senior Farm Business Consultant to join our team. As a Senior Farm Business Consultant, you will play a vital role in delivering a wide range of consultancy services to farmers, contributing to our company's growth and success in the agricultural sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver consultancy services to farmers, including comprehensive farm business appraisals and management of Basic Payment Scheme and grant applications.
  • Compile reports and budgets for various agreements, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a growing team of professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead, with a proven track record of team management and development.
  • A combination of practical and farm business experience, with a deep understanding of DEFRAs subsidies and the Agricultural Transition Period.
  • Previous experience of managing a team, with a strong focus on leadership and mentorship.
  • 3 years of experience in the arable/livestock sectors, with a strong understanding of the industry's challenges and opportunities.
  • FACTS and BASIS qualifications, or equivalent, are highly desirable.
