Five Education Recruitment Limited is seeking a dedicated Humanities and English Educator for a specialized educational environment catering to students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This role is situated within a unique educational framework designed to assist young people who may have encountered various adversities in their lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lessons in Humanities and English, tailored to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Provide individualized support within the classroom, adapting tasks to promote success for all learners.
- Facilitate access to the curriculum by recognizing and addressing each student's learning requirements.
- Create a positive and enjoyable learning atmosphere that encourages student participation.
- Assist students in managing their emotions and maintaining focus during challenging moments.
Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years of professional references, including one from a role involving children or vulnerable adults.
- Current DBS/Police checks.
- Availability to work five days a week.
- Demonstrated experience in teaching or supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) or SEMH.
- Possession of a recognized teaching qualification or progress towards one.
