About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to provide face-to-face alternative provision to SEN/SEND/SEMH children and young people with challenging behaviors in and around Bournemouth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students with SEN/SEND/SEMH in a classroom setting
  • Assist with lesson planning and delivery
  • Provide one-to-one support to students
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience working with children/young people in a classroom setting
  • Enhanced DBS on the update system
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Safeguarding Policy
  • Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
