Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team at Prospero Teaching. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) and helping them thrive in a vibrant learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting students 1:1 or in small groups to achieve their educational goals.
  • Assisting with learning activities, social interaction, and personal development.
  • Creating a safe, nurturing, and positive classroom atmosphere.
  • Working closely with teachers and SENCOs to implement personalised learning plans.
Requirements:
  • Passion for SEN: You're dedicated to supporting students with learning difficulties, autism, ADHD.
  • Empathy & Patience: A caring attitude and the ability to adapt to each child's unique needs.
  • Team Player: You work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and parents to deliver tailored support.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role or relevant qualifications (desirable but not essential).
