About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to provide face-to-face alternative provision to SEN/SEND/SEMH children and young people with challenging behaviours in and around Bournemouth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning to support the academic and personal development of students
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to students with challenging behaviours
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of behaviour management strategies
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and development
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience working with children/young people in a classroom setting
  • Enhanced DBS on the update system
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Safeguarding Policy
  • Teaching experience in a UK classroom setting
