About the Role

Sugarman Health and Well-being is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to provide face-to-face alternative provision to SEN / SEND/ SEMH/ children and young people with challenging behaviours in and around Bournemouth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students with SEN / SEND/ SEMH/ in a classroom setting
  • Provide individualized support to students with challenging behaviours
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Assist with lesson planning and preparation
  • Monitor and record student progress
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience working with children / young people in a classroom setting
  • Enhanced DBS on the update system
  • Hold right to work in the UK
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Safeguarding Policy
  • Taught in a classroom setting in the UK
