Elevation Recruitment Group is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join a rapidly expanding organization in the Wholesale sector.

Role Overview:
We are in search of candidates with experience in Wholesale merchandise such as gifts, home furnishings, gardening supplies, outdoor products, accessories, seasonal items, or DIY materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and select potential vendors based on quality, pricing, and dependability.
  • Negotiate agreements and conditions with vendors to secure advantageous terms.
  • Perform market analysis to remain informed about industry developments, competitor offerings, and consumer trends.
  • Evaluate sales patterns and stock levels to predict product demand.
  • Foster and sustain robust relationships with vendors.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and implement strategies to minimize expenses.
  • Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to comprehend customer requirements and preferences.

Experience & Qualifications Required:
  • Proven experience in stock clearance and/or discount wholesale trade.
  • Ability to establish and maintain progressive relationships with vendors.
  • Excellent communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities, capable of engaging with individuals at various levels of seniority.
  • Understanding of sales dynamics and the ability to consult with vendors to secure products at competitive prices.
  • Develop insight into vendor operations to identify decision-makers and build successful relationships that meet mutual needs.
  • Initiate contact and cultivate productive and profitable partnerships.
  • A motivated and determined individual with a strong desire to achieve success.
