Job Overview:

As a key member of our 24/7 support team, you will be instrumental in delivering high-level technical assistance for our Solaris and AIX server environments. Your expertise will ensure the continuity of exceptional service delivery while fostering the professional development of your colleagues. You will engage in troubleshooting, monitoring, and enhancing our solutions, prioritizing customer satisfaction as a core value.

This position involves shift work, offering a shift allowance and flexibility to accommodate various working hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding customer support as the primary contact during off-peak hours, ensuring emergency support is available around the clock.
  • Assist in disaster recovery testing across diverse virtual environments.
  • Address and remediate security vulnerabilities identified by compliance assessments.
  • Execute scheduled maintenance and planned changes outside of standard hours.
  • Aid in the configuration and support of Linux and Windows server systems.
  • Contribute to the innovation and development of new and enhanced service offerings.
  • Expand your knowledge across a wide range of technologies utilized within our operations.

Essential Duties:

  • Deliver technical support for infrastructure services, responding to incidents and assisting with various tasks.
  • Participate in the execution of infrastructure projects and initiatives.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with the team to improve infrastructure efficiency and resolve technical issues.
  • Support the creation of infrastructure documentation, including incident reports and configuration records.
  • Leverage technical expertise to resolve infrastructure-related challenges.
  • Adhere to established best practices and standards in service delivery.
  • Utilize your technical skills to manage infrastructure incidents effectively.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Typically, 4+ years of relevant industry experience, with at least 1 year in a similar capacity.
  • Demonstrated experience in analyzing infrastructure technologies.
  • Proficient in data analysis and possessing strong technical knowledge.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with industry advancements.

Additional Qualifications:

  • An advanced degree in a relevant field is advantageous.
