Position Overview:

As a key member of our 24/7 support team, you will be instrumental in delivering high-level technical expertise for our Solaris and AIX server environments. Your role will focus on ensuring optimal service delivery while fostering the professional development of your colleagues and streamlining processes to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction. Our engineers engage directly with clients, troubleshooting, monitoring, and refining solutions to elevate the customer experience, all while adhering to service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).

This position includes a shift allowance due to the nature of the work schedule, providing flexibility to accommodate various working hours.

Eligibility Requirements:

Candidates must be eligible for SC clearance and may be required to obtain DV clearance in the future. Proximity to the operational base is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service as the primary contact for the organization during off-hours, ensuring emergency support is available 24/7.
  • Assist in disaster recovery testing across diverse virtual platforms.
  • Address and remediate security vulnerabilities identified by the compliance team.
  • Execute scheduled maintenance and change management tasks outside of standard hours.
  • Support the setup, configuration, and maintenance of Linux and Windows server environments.
  • Contribute to the innovation and development of new and enhanced products.
  • Expand your expertise across a broad range of technologies utilized within the organization.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide technical assistance in infrastructure services, responding to incidents and facilitating tasks.
  • Participate in the execution of infrastructure projects and assignments.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure systems to ensure reliability and optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with the team to improve infrastructure effectiveness and resolve technical challenges.
  • Aid in the creation of infrastructure documentation, including incident reports and configuration records.
  • Apply technical knowledge to resolve infrastructure-related issues.
  • Adhere to established best practices and standards in service delivery.
  • Utilize technical skills to address and resolve infrastructure incidents.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant industry experience, including at least 1 year in a similar capacity.
  • Demonstrated experience in infrastructure technology analysis.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and technical concepts.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with industry advancements.

Additional Qualifications:

  • An advanced degree in a relevant field is advantageous.
