Job Summary
Lancashire County Council is seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Officer to join our Countywide Services Support Team. As a key member of our team, you will provide operational highways support and administrative functions to ensure the smooth delivery of our services.
Key Responsibilities
- Input data into IT systems for job costings, time recording, and emergency call out details.
- Main point of contact for emergency calls, including allocation to operatives and updating systems.
- Creation of Utilities service plans.
- Liaising with members of the public, customers, and other LCC colleagues to provide an efficient support service.
- Highway support duties, including maintaining spreadsheets and generating reports.
Requirements
The successful candidate will require excellent time management, data processing, and customer service skills. The ability to work both unsupervised and as part of a team is essential for this role.
Working Arrangements
This is a full-time position working 37 hours per week. The role includes working at home and working in the office on a rota basis. The team's office base is Bamber Bridge, but you may occasionally be required to travel to other depots within Lancashire.
