Job Title – Production MCR Operator

Salary - £27,000

This is a contract role for a Production Assistant at Al-Khair Foundation. The successful candidate will be responsible for tasks such as:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing all technical aspects of the production process required for good quality on-screen programs
  • Assisting in setting up and dismantling equipment, including cameras, lighting, and audio gear
  • Helping with the arrangement of sets, props, and other on-set materials
  • Supporting the production crew during live broadcasts and recordings by managing scripts, cue cards, and other materials
  • Assisting talent and guests with preparations, including wardrobe and microphone setups
Outdoor Production Support:
  • Assisting in the transportation and setup of equipment for outdoor shoots, including location scouting, camera setup, and lighting
  • Helping to coordinate with local authorities and locations for necessary permissions and logistics
  • Assisting in managing extras, crowd control, and the general public during outdoor filming
  • Coordinating with the production team to adapt to changing conditions, such as weather or location issues
General Production Duties:
  • Handling administrative tasks such as scheduling, call sheets, and production logs
  • Assisting in post-production tasks, including logging footage, and helping with basic editing tasks as needed
  • Supporting the production team in maintaining an inventory of production supplies and equipment
  • Liaising with various departments, including editorial, technical, and creative teams, to ensure smooth communication and workflow
  • Taking initiative to solve production-related issues and provide support wherever needed

To perform any other reasonable task required for the effective running of the production

To comply with all policies, procedures, legal and regulatory requirements

To hold a valid passport and be willing and able to travel extensively and at short notice
