At Good Energy, our installation teams are dedicated to providing top-notch quality for our clients, ensuring exceptional craftsmanship along with safe and compliant installations. Our mission is to guarantee that our clients receive unparalleled service, aiding them in transforming their home heating methods.
During installations, you will collaborate closely with an Electrician and a Trainee Heating Engineer, providing mentorship and guidance to help develop their skills and capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a heating installation authority, showcasing and delivering high-quality technical skills to install Midea heat pumps.
- Work collaboratively with electrical engineers to ensure safe, timely, and high-standard installations of heating systems.
- Uphold high standards of health, safety, and environmental practices to ensure safety for yourself, clients, and colleagues.
- Engage in continuous professional development to enhance your technical knowledge and maintain a focus on health, safety, and compliance.
- Exhibit a commitment to improving safety, efficiency, and quality in all aspects of work.
- Manage relationships with stakeholders effectively and collaborate with various teams to ensure seamless customer service.
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced and evolving work environment.
- Approach problem-solving proactively with a positive attitude, prioritizing the best outcomes for both clients and the organization.
You must be an effective communicator, comfortable engaging with clients and explaining the functionality of heating systems while addressing any inquiries they may have. As a problem solver and seasoned installer, you should be confident in resolving issues for our clients, ensuring a safe and high-quality service.
Essential Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in plumbing, heating, or engineering.
- Experience with unvented hot water systems.
- Core Domestic Gas Safety (CCN1) certification.
- Comprehensive health and safety knowledge.
- A valid full UK driving license.
- Experience with oil heating systems.
- Familiarity with LPG systems.
- Knowledge of renewable energy technologies.
- Understanding of water regulations.
- Expertise in energy efficiency practices.
- Familiarity with MCS Regulations.
- Domestic heat pump installation and maintenance certification (Level 3).
