Job Title: Product Category Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Category Manager to join our team. As a key member of our product management team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive growth and profitability for our head protection product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement product category strategies to maximize visibility and performance within our portfolio.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure close collaboration and holistic planning and execution.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for international business development and sales teams.
  • Engage in Front End of Innovation (FEI) process and the NPI stage gate process.
  • Develop international go-to-market recommendations and strategies.
  • Define purpose and role of category within the Business portfolio and set, measure, and track specific category metrics.
  • Find opportunities to maximize profitability and conduct financial analysis.
  • Develop exit strategies for unsuccessful/aging products.
  • Establish forecasts for product demand.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in safety/health, first responder, industrial or military products.
  • A deep understanding of product and project management.
  • Experience with cross-functional teams.
  • Seasoned experience using Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Bachelor's degree required (Business Administration or Marketing preferred) or related professional work experience.
