About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Health and Safety Partner to join our team at Irwin & Colton - HSE Recruitment. As a Regional Health and Safety Partner, you will be responsible for providing subject-matter expertise, leadership, and coaching to build safety and health capability across the site.
Key Responsibilities:- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure the site is compliant with UK legislation and in line with the overall UK strategy for Health and Safety.
- Health and Safety Leadership: Engage with members of staff at all levels across the site to improve awareness and commitment to Health and Safety issues.
- Audit and Inspection: Manage a regular audit and inspection programme, assessing Health and Safety performance and identifying any areas of improvement.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key internal and external stakeholders including contractors, regulators, and enforcement agencies as required.
- Proven Experience: Proven experience in a similar role ideally within a related logistics, warehousing, or distribution environment.
- Qualifications: Ideally NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (or working towards) and Membership of IOSH or other relevant professional body.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong technical knowledge across relevant health and safety legislation.
- Approach: Enthusiastic and positive approach to health and safety.
