Job Description

Job Title: Programme Manager/MT Leader

Job Summary:

Bloomsbury Football is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Programme Manager/MT Leader to lead and grow our grassroots football league for girls. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a long-term growth strategy, managing a team, and overseeing daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the league's calendar of fixtures, including referee assignments and pitch space allocation
  • Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including club leads, venue managers, and county FA colleagues
  • Ensure correct governance of the league, including compliance with FA rules and guidelines, implementation of disciplinary procedures, and safeguarding policies
  • Line manage the full-time league coordinator and part-time league assistants
  • Develop and execute a short and long-term growth strategy for the league
  • Oversee league finances, producing budgets and raising invoices
  • Utilise the league's impact measurement framework to implement an effective monitoring and evaluation process
  • Deliver events such as coaching and refereeing courses, community workshops, and tournaments
  • Work alongside the Fundraising team to secure partnerships and sponsorships
  • Work alongside the Marketing team to develop an effective marketing strategy

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Exceptional time management with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Confidence in leadership and decision-making
  • Ability to take initiative to problem-solve
  • Familiarity with budgeting and finance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of women's and girls' football and the challenges faced by girls in football

Other Requirements:

  • Flexible working pattern, with ability to work weekends and evenings as needed
  • The candidate must have the right to live and work in the UK
