Position Overview

We are pleased to announce an opportunity for a Project Implementation Leader to become part of our North Planned & Building Safety Team. This is a permanent, full-time role that offers flexibility in work locations across the North of England, with a hybrid working model in place.

The primary responsibility of this position is to oversee the execution of planned works and building safety remediation initiatives at one of our key housing schemes. Upon the successful completion of this project, the role will transition to managing various planned, building safety, and sustainability retrofit projects throughout the North, collaborating with and supervising external consultants and contractors.

Essential Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience in successfully delivering planned, building safety remediation, and sustainability projects.
  • Strong commercial insight and experience managing the financial aspects of multiple projects.
  • Proficient in contract management with both internal and external contractor organizations, ensuring value for money and quality delivery.
  • Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service.
  • Outstanding project management capabilities.
  • Solid understanding of building construction and repair methodologies, as well as compliance with current building safety legislation and regulations.
  • Experience in effective budget oversight.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exhibits the core values of our organization.

Desirable Skills:

  • Current practical knowledge of the Building Safety Act, PAS9980, PAS2030/35, and relevant installation standards.
  • Extensive knowledge of building/fire safety, retrofit, and renewal/regeneration component replacement.
  • Understanding of the operations of a social housing provider.

Educational Requirements

Essential:

  • Minimum Level 5 qualification (HND) or equivalent in Building, Construction, Surveying, or a related field.

Desirable:

  • Membership in a recognized professional body (e.g., RICS, CIOB) or similar.
  • NEBOSH Certification.
  • CFPA Diploma in Fire Prevention or equivalent qualification.
