About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Investor Relations Programme Manager to join our team at BT Group. As a key member of our corporate affairs team, you will play a critical role in shaping our investor relations strategy and executing our plans to engage with the investment community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with executive leadership to organize senior management and IR roadshows, ensuring seamless execution and effective communication with investors.
  • Work with leading banks and brokers to organize all aspects of the roadshow itinerary, including investor targeting and logistics.
  • Prepare high-quality presentations for IR events, including results presentations, IR packs, business briefings, and other internal presentations.
  • Develop and maintain our IR team's digital presence and content, ensuring it is engaging, informative, and aligned with our corporate strategy.
  • Support the maintenance of our IR database, ensuring records are up-to-date and distributing time-sensitive materials to investors and analysts.
  • Collaborate with the Group IR Director to prioritize and organize senior management and IR resources to attend investor meetings, conferences, and group lunches.
  • Arrange purchase orders for IR-related expenses, ensuring timely payment and compliance with our financial processes.
  • Provide internal communications support to the Group CFO's Executive Assistant on FBS internal communications.
  • Manage relationships with key shareholders and potential investors, providing them with a fair representation of the BT investment case and organizing investor/analyst meetings, conference presentations, and roadshows.
  • Develop and implement a proactive investor relations program that supports strategic planning and ongoing development of all investor relations activities, with the aim of increasing shareholder value and enhancing BT's image within the investment community.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in investor relations, corporate communications, or a related field, with a strong track record of delivering results.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead on projects and see them through to completion.
  • Extensive knowledge of MS Office products, particularly PowerPoint, and experience with diary management.
  • Ability to effectively manage high volumes of competing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience of working in and with multiple teams, with a proven ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate complex information effectively to both internal and external audiences.
