Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our IPS Into Work team as an Employment Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with mental health and/or substance misuse issues to achieve their employment goals.

About the Role

As an Employment Specialist, you will work closely with service users to provide a personalized employment service, supporting them to achieve their dreams. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, engage employers to develop partnerships, and promote and encourage referrals. This is an exciting opportunity to make a lasting positive impact on the lives of individuals in Surrey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a holistic employment support service to Surrey residents
  • Work closely with service users to develop personalized employment plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote and encourage referrals
  • Engage employers to develop partnerships and support job placements

Location

You will be based in Guildford, Surrey, and will be assigned an area with a willingness to cover other sites across Surrey as required. There will also be opportunities for remote working and community-based work.
