About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Manager to join our team at Morson Talent. As a global leader in the production of low-carbon energy, we are committed to helping our clients achieve their business objectives while minimizing the risk of disruptions or disasters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement IT business continuity and disaster recovery plans to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Conduct business impact analysis to identify critical IT systems and operations.
  • Coordinate with various teams to develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans for IT systems.
  • Conduct regular tests and drills to ensure the effectiveness of the IT business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
  • Provide training and awareness to all staff about IT business continuity and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in IT business continuity and disaster recovery.
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with business continuity owners across the business and ensure an appropriate level of alignment and coordination.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of implementing and maintaining successful business continuity and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Proven experience in IT business continuity planning and disaster recovery.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including cloud-based systems.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage during a crisis.
