Job Title: Head of Commercial Management

As a key member of the Samsung Electronics team, you will play a crucial role in driving commercial performance and user experience through the development of high-quality business intelligence (BI) and insights.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the European team responsible for crafting, developing, and delivering BI reports and insights to European leadership and subsidiaries.
  • Identify D2C opportunities from data and communicate them confidently to stakeholders, ensuring strong planning and thought leadership.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Lead and encourage team and partner suppliers to deliver BI and insights within agreed timeframes.
  • Support business, strategic, and budget planning.
  • Work with business leaders to ensure D2C analytics support business planning, sales, and decisions.
  • Articulate relationships between data points and extract meaningful D2C business actions.
  • Bring value through data utilization.
  • Provide thought leadership in D2C BI and insights.
  • Develop clear plans to demonstrate data sources and tasks are on track to deliver against agreed timelines.
  • Establish data and analytics governance.
  • Ensure Cookie and tagging environment remains compliant to policies.
Your Key People Management Responsibilities:

Your team will be responsible for delivering excellence in BI reporting and insights to improve sales and consumer experience in Samsung.

  • Support team development through regular mentoring, coaching, and feedback, 1:1s, and on-the-job learning opportunities.
  • Role model inclusion for your team to build trust and psychological safety.
  • Manage annual people management cycles, including goal setting, evaluation, and salary reviews, to a high quality and in a timely manner.
Skills and Qualifications:

What we need for this role:

  • Strong leadership in BI and insights to develop reporting that clearly identifies D2C opportunities.
  • Experience with developing BI and insights reporting in a Consumer electronics D2C environment.
  • Excellent planning and organizing skills, with the ability to develop plans and implement them while keeping collaborators informed.
  • Stakeholder management in a complex European organization.

The role is responsible for the ongoing development and delivery of BI and insights strategy that drives sales across all products and eStore channels (including B2B and B2C and employee purchase portals).

  • Timely delivery of BI and insights reports that clearly identify opportunities in D2C.
  • Comprehensive ETL processes that provide quality data.
