Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional guest service by attending to all guests promptly and efficiently.
  • Update guest history records to ensure accurate information.
  • Action all diary events, flags, and specials in a timely manner.
  • Ensure timely delivery of guest mail, messages, and parcels.
  • Liaise with Housekeeping to maintain accurate room information and lost property.
  • Utilize the daily worksheet to stay informed and ensure its accuracy.
  • Complete guest registration forms accurately and update the computer system accordingly.
  • Ensure accurate account postings and necessary paperwork.
  • Perform a balanced cashiering at the end of each shift.
  • Maintain security procedures according to policy.
  • Complete Express Check out envelopes.
  • Ensure security boxes are maintained and operated within security guidelines.
  • Report any safety hazards in the area.
  • Handle guest complaints promptly and efficiently.
  • Attend and participate in meetings and training sessions.
  • Perform other duties as requested by the Night Manager.
  • Provide a warm welcome to all callers and guests.
  • Offer Guest Valet Parking as required.
  • Complete audit tasks as specified by the Night Auditors checklist.
  • Respond to incoming calls promptly.
  • Distribute reports as necessary.
  • Handle cash and credit transactions with related paperwork.
  • Assist colleagues with inquiries and seek assistance when needed.
  • Process wake-up calls.
  • Ensure a smooth handover of information to the oncoming shift.
  • Report any shift-related issues to the Night Manager.
  • Demonstrate competence in all duties as required for the position.

Additional Information:

To support your success in this role, you will receive training in front-of-house functions and property safety.

Fluency in English is essential to provide excellent guest service.
