Key Responsibilities of the SEN Instructor:
- Delivering tailored instruction in subjects such as Mathematics, English, or Science to students referred to specialized educational provisions.
- Supporting young individuals who have been referred by educational institutions and local authorities, addressing their academic and social-emotional needs.
- Utilizing a flexible and holistic approach to tutoring and mentoring, grounded in trauma-informed practices.
Essential Duties:
- Designing and planning each tutoring session to meet the unique needs of students.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Possession of Professional Teaching Qualifications (such as Qualified Teacher Status, QTS, or QTLS).
- Experience working with young individuals with Additional Educational Needs.
- Enhanced DBS clearance (assistance in obtaining this can be provided).
