Job Summary:

Brewer Morris is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Associate to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end accounts payable processes for multiple entities across the US and Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Payable Process Management: Ensure seamless coordination with the Accounts Payable Team to manage the end-to-end accounts payable processes for Europe and US entities.
  • Vendor Relationship Management: Foster and maintain strong business relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors by ensuring timely, accurate payments and clear, consistent communication.
  • Process Improvement: Design, implement, and continuously improve policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance efficiency, productivity, and compliance with both internal standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Employee Expense Reimbursement: Manage and optimize the employee expense reimbursement process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to company policies.
  • Bank Reconciliations: Perform monthly bank reconciliations, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and discrepancies are promptly addressed.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze and report on accounts payable data to provide insights and support decision-making for the business.
  • Closing Processes: Support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all accounts payable activities are completed accurately and on time.
  • Process Automation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the accounts payable function.
  • Ad-Hoc Requests: Handle ad-hoc requests and generate reports as needed to meet the dynamic needs of the business.

Requirements:

  • 4-5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Experience dealing with multiple jurisdictions
  • Excellent communication, customer service and relationship management skills
  • Proactive self-starter who works well both independently
  • Microsoft D365 would be highly advantageous
