Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Asset Management Consultant to join our team at CV Library. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in consultancy and facilities management, with expertise in strategic master planning.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and Execute Projects: The successful candidate will lead and execute the Establishment Management Plan (EMP) projects as the designated EMP Lead.
  2. Develop Asset Management Strategies: Produce asset management optimisation strategies for Defence Estate sites.
  3. Communicate Effectively: Utilise excellent oral and written communication skills to convey complex master planning and asset management concepts clearly to clients and external stakeholders.
  4. Analyse and Solve Problems: Employ strong analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate project challenges, identifying optimal solutions for effective asset management strategies.
  5. Drive Improvement Initiatives: Act as a strategic consultant, identifying opportunities for improvement and driving initiatives to enhance asset management processes and outcomes, including master planning components.
  6. Provide Technical Expertise: Act as a technical expert within projects, providing advice to team members to support successful delivery in line with project objectives and strategies.
  7. Build Relationships: Build and manage relationships with senior client project sponsors/stakeholders to ensure all parties are informed and aligned to meet objectives.
  8. Manage Budget: Accountable for project budget and forecast.
  9. Travel: Ability to travel to project sites for stakeholder presentations and ad-hoc team visits.
Requirements
  1. Project Management Experience: Experienced project lead in managing complex high-profile projects in the Defence and/or Public Sectors.
  2. Asset Optimisation Experience: Asset Optimisation and Estates Management strategy experience.
  3. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and report writing skills.
  4. Design and Master Planning Skills: Design, Building Surveying and Master planning skills.
  5. Project Management Expertise: Project management expert within area of specialism.
  6. Business Relationship Experience: Experience of managing business relationships at executive level.

Security Clearance: Due to the nature of the projects, Baseline Personnel Security Standards apply.
