Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Audit & Assurance Expert to join our team at Audit & Risk Recruitment. As a Commodities Trading Specialist, you will be responsible for providing risk and assurance expertise on matters related to Market Conduct Risk within Commodities Trading.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead on audit strategy for marketing compliance areas such as market conduct, counterparty onboarding, trade surveillance, and trading patterns.
  • Work with audit colleagues to remediate, test, and continuously improve the internal controls framework.
  • Perform continuous risk monitoring and stay abreast of all emerging risks in the field, providing technical insights to the business when needed.
  • Develop strong relationships with stakeholders to understand the risk profile of the group to the greatest extent possible.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Audit or Controls professional with expertise in Market Conduct Risk within Commodities Trading.
  • Experience working within mining, oil & gas, or another commodities sector.
  • At least several years' experience in this discipline.
