Join our dedicated team as an Autism Support Specialist at our esteemed educational institution, which specializes in providing tailored education and care for students aged 5 to 19 years with Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC).

Role Overview:

As an Autism Support Specialist, you will:

  • Work closely with students diagnosed with Autism and various additional needs.
  • Engage in full-time, term-time employment.
  • Enjoy a supportive work environment that offers valuable training and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement personalized learning experiences tailored to each student's unique requirements.
  • Prepare educational materials and facilitate engaging classroom activities.
  • Provide both emotional and physical support to encourage student participation and development.
  • Collaborate with a supportive team to overcome challenges and foster a positive learning atmosphere.

Qualifications:

While full training will be provided, prior experience as a Teaching Assistant or working with students on the autism spectrum is highly advantageous. We also welcome candidates with backgrounds in hospitality, outdoor education, or office environments.

We seek individuals who are adaptable to various classroom settings and possess a collaborative spirit to enhance our team dynamics.
