Job Title: Renewable Energy Contracts Specialist

At Masdar Azerbaijan Energy LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled Renewable Energy Contracts Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Chief Investment Office, you will be responsible for managing contractual matters of our Battery Energy Storage projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all contract activities, providing appropriate levels of contractual advice whenever required.
  • Ensure that all members of the Project teams comply with Masdar governance and undertake audits whenever necessary.

Requirements:

  • MBA or relevant Master's degree from a top-tier internationally recognized higher education institution.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration or finance or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6-8 years experience in contracts in roles involving the management and administration of construction contracts in the construction, industrial, energy/oil and gas or petrochemical sectors or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in managing and administrating renewable energy contract agreements is an asset.

  • Job-Specific Skills:
  • Knowledge of renewable energy and traditional energy industry.
  • Knowledge of processes, templates, tools and systems used in bids and proposals.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills leading to a consultative approach within a corporate/multifunctional environment.
  • Good knowledge of drafting, negotiating, executing, administrating and closing multiple contracts.
  • Good knowledge of financial, commercial and contractual governances.
  • Good knowledge of contract law.
  • Ability to work well within multi-disciplined teams and with third parties.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
