FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER FOR COMMERCIAL VEHICLES
GHA Recruitment is representing a leading organization specializing in advanced drive technology and systems. Their clientele spans various sectors including energy, transportation, and industrial applications. They are seeking to hire a skilled Field Service Engineer for Commercial Vehicles on a full-time, permanent basis. A company vehicle will be provided for this role.

Field Service Engineer – Compensation Package
* Salary range: £50,000 to £60,000 based on experience

Field Service Engineer – Key Responsibilities

  • Provide service support for commercial vehicles, including electric drive systems and bus transmissions
  • Execute major unit replacements
  • Assist Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) as necessary
  • Offer technical support and guidance to sales teams
  • Complete and submit necessary documentation along with engineering reports
  • Manage maintenance stock levels
  • Ensure upkeep of the company vehicle

Field Service Engineer – Required Qualifications

  • Completion of an engineering apprenticeship as a minimum; level 5 or higher qualification preferred
  • Multi-skilled engineer with a focus on mechatronics and electrical systems
  • Experience in field service engineering
  • Familiarity with electric vehicles
  • Knowledge of zero-emission vehicles, electrical drive systems, and fuel cells
  • A valid UK Driving Licence
