About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consumer Products Associate to join our EMEA Regional Consumer Products team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and implementing Regional Hardlines Categories Strategies, collaborating with global, regional, and local teams to drive business growth and marketing exposure for Mattel CP brands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all existing licensing deals and licensee relationships, ensuring alignment with Mattel CP goals and objectives.
  • Develop and deliver joint business plans, forecasting, and contract negotiation to drive revenue growth and marketing exposure.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop marketing and promotional strategies, ensuring alignment with EMEA consumer products, marketing, and brand teams.
  • Conduct bi-weekly 121 meetings, quarterly business reviews, and annual top-to-top meetings to track financial goals and sales targets.
  • Research, identify, and pitch new category opportunities across the categories of responsibility, preparing brand pitches and marketing presentations.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working in a consumer products, marketing, or sales position, with a strong understanding of the Licensing environment and exposure to Licensing.
  • Hardlines knowledge and experience working with toy or product-based businesses.
  • Proven sales negotiation experience and commercial thinking mindset, with the ability to influence others and present messaging impactfully.
  • Strong relationship builder, able to navigate internal and external relationships and stakeholders with ease.
  • Team player with ambitious thinking, strong communication skills, and the ability to deliver a narrative.
