Key Responsibilities
As a Lead Pharmacy Technician, you will be pivotal in delivering high-quality pharmaceutical services. Your expertise will serve as a vital resource for patients, their families, and healthcare professionals. You will take charge of coordinating and enhancing the pharmacy services, ensuring they meet the highest standards of clinical practice.
Main Duties Include:
- Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to address the complex pharmaceutical needs of oncology patients.
- Developing tailored medication management plans based on individual patient requirements.
- Leading initiatives to improve pharmacy practices and patient outcomes in the oncology setting.
- Providing expert guidance and support to junior pharmacy staff and other healthcare professionals.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and promoting best practices in medication safety.
Candidate Profile
Essential Qualifications
- A recognized qualification in Pharmacy, registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
- Significant experience in a clinical pharmacy setting, particularly within oncology.
- Proven track record in clinical supervision and mentoring of pharmacy staff.
- Participation in ongoing professional development and training relevant to oncology.
