About the Role

The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Nurse to join our team in the Haematology and Oncology department. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, evidence-led care to patients with cancer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and supervise shifts, ensuring effective communication with the multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care.
  • Exercise clinical judgment and decision-making skills to meet patient needs, including long-term goals and plans.
  • Participate in the organization and running of clinical trials, including recruitment, education, and monitoring of patients, as well as liaison with trial sponsors.
Requirements
  • NMC Registration
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development
  • RMH Certificate in Intravenous Drug Administration or to be obtained within three months of appointment
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Qualification in oncology or specialty Diploma or Degree level study (or equivalent)
  • Recognized teaching qualification
  • Experience in intravenous drug administration
  • Sufficient post-registration nursing experience in oncology or specialty to be confident and competent in using required skills
