Job Summary

The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust is a world-leading cancer centre, and we are seeking an experienced Staff Nurse to join our team. As a Staff Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, evidence-led care to patients with haematology and oncology cancers.

Main Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and supervise shifts, ensuring effective communication with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient care.
  • Exercise clinical judgment and decision-making skills to meet patient needs, including long-term goals and plans.
  • Participate in the organization and running of clinical trials, including recruitment, education, and monitoring of patients.

Requirements
  • NMC Registration
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development
  • RMH Certificate in Intravenous Drug Administration or to be obtained within three months of appointment
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Qualification in oncology or speciality Diploma or Degree level study (or equivalent)
  • Recognised teaching qualification
  • Experience in chemotherapy administration
  • Experience in Clinical Management
  • Knowledge and understanding of clinical trials management
