About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Administrator to join our team at Workman LLP. As an Accounts Payable Administrator, you will be responsible for the daily processing of supplier invoices for our diverse property portfolio.

You will work closely with our accounts team and property managers to ensure the timely processing and payment of supplier invoices. Your role will involve building and maintaining close professional relationships with suppliers and colleagues, using your initiative to resolve queries and issues.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Processing and managing supplier invoices, including updating control spreadsheets and loading invoices to our client approval system.
  • Managing central email inboxes and supplier account reconciliations, including processing supplier refunds.
  • Processing and managing CIS deductions/payments and proforma invoice payment process.
  • Liaising with asset managers regarding invoice approval and queries.
  • Supplier and client query resolution and banking duties, including BACS/CHAPS transfers.

We are looking for a proactive, practical, and positive individual with excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail. You will have a good understanding of accounting principles and be able to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Maths and English GCSEs 9-4/A-C.
  • Good numeracy skills and IT skills, particularly Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel.

We offer a competitive salary band of £21,000-£24,000 and a range of benefits, including hybrid working, study support, discretionary annual bonus, and healthcare and life insurance.
