Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and inquisitive individual to oversee the collaboration with one of our key Client Accounts in the UK. The focus will be on promoting and enhancing the utilization of Visa Europe products and services throughout their operations to elevate the Visa payments customer experience and drive growth.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong desire to learn, demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, and exhibit creative problem-solving abilities. Building networks and nurturing relationships within both the client and Visa organizations is essential. Familiarity with the payments industry and experience in banking or financial services will be advantageous.

You will work closely with internal Visa teams and the client to introduce innovative solutions, ensuring both entities remain at the forefront of the payments sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Client Director, Client Leads, and the broader account team to provide necessary support to stakeholders from Visa.
  • Cultivate relationships with client teams, addressing inquiries and proactively engaging on market trends and how Visa can assist.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the client's operations to effectively meet their needs and uncover opportunities for Visa.
  • Acquire and demonstrate in-depth knowledge of all Visa products and services, proactively identifying opportunities that align with the client's needs to enhance profitability for your P&L and support the achievement of your sales targets.
  • Deliver insights and reports on joint client initiatives and other account-related activities.
  • Engage with colleagues across Visa, ensuring that teams such as products, consulting, marketing, and client services are appropriately involved and informed about client opportunities and challenges.
  • Assist in the execution of high-quality client meetings and interactions, providing valuable insights and materials.

This role is hybrid, allowing employees to alternate between remote work and office attendance. Hybrid employees are expected to work from the office 2-3 designated days a week, as determined by leadership, with a general expectation of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business requirements.

Qualifications:

  • A genuine curiosity about payments, Visa, and the client's business, coupled with enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
  • An energetic and resilient self-starter capable of working independently as well as part of a larger team.
  • Ability to articulate Visa's capabilities while quickly identifying additional subject matter expert resources needed to support the client.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with multiple stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally, building trust as the relationship develops.
  • Capability to analyze and work with data to generate actionable and commercial insights.
