About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled HR Advisor to join our team at SGS UK Limited. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of various HR functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert HR guidance to management, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Implement effective HR policies and procedures, driving employee engagement and retention.
- Manage employee relations, performance management, and case work, ensuring a fair and consistent approach.
- Conduct investigations into employee complaints, maintaining confidentiality and impartiality.
- Stay up-to-date with employment laws and regulations, HR best practices, and industry trends.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HR Advisor, with a strong background in employee relations and case management.
- CIPD qualification (Level 5) or equivalent, with notable experience in performance management, capability, disciplinary hearings, and absence management.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in HR software and systems, with a strong understanding of data analysis for management insights.
