Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Funding Manager to join our team at the Medical Research Council (MRC).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the MRC mission by delivering funding to support world-class medical research.
  • Work closely with researchers to understand their funding needs and develop effective solutions.
  • Manage and administer research grants, ensuring compliance with MRC policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and prioritize funding opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with researchers, institutions, and other stakeholders to promote MRC funding opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in research funding or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of research funding policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
