We are seeking a highly motivated and attentive individual to join our hotel team as a Front of House Supervisor at KE Hotels (Newcastle).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a warm welcome to guests, setting the tone for a memorable experience.
  • Ensure seamless check-in and check-out procedures, adhering to company standards.
  • Assist with guest reviews and updates, providing exceptional service.
  • Maintain the safety and security of guests and hotel property, taking proactive measures to prevent incidents.
  • Support department heads in maintaining service excellence, working collaboratively to achieve goals.
  • Handle cash and credit transactions, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Be prepared to assist colleagues with ad-hoc duties, demonstrating a team-oriented mindset.
  • Respond to emergency situations, such as fires, downtime, accidents, or system failures, prioritizing guest safety and well-being.
  • Complete duty management tasks, focusing on lobby management, food and beverage outlets, concierge, and front desk areas.
  • Address guest queries and complaints, resolving issues in a satisfactory manner.
  • Represent the hotel industry and the IHG brand with professionalism and enthusiasm.

Requirements:

  • Positive attitude and demeanor
  • Confident, calm, and professional telephone manner
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Strong problem-solving skills and initiative
  • Experience working in a customer-facing environment, preferably in hospitality
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Computer proficiency, with Opera PMS experience a plus
  • Attention to detail and high motivation
