We are seeking a highly skilled Land Manager to join our team at SSE Enterprise. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for securing, maintaining, and managing robust land and property rights for projects across our network area.
Key Responsibilities- Apply and implement Land Assembly Strategy to deliver project programmes for Large Capital Projects.
- Manage risk to future Network security.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with stakeholders, including landowners, tenants, and relevant bodies.
- Have a good understanding of landownership systems in Scotland and practical knowledge of relevant land management matters.
- Have good knowledge of land and property rights, including wayleaves, servitudes, and land acquisition.
- Have a good understanding of the relevant sections of the Electricity Act 1989, the Land Compensation Act 1973, and the Compulsory Purchase Act 1965.
- Have a good understanding of energy networks and their structure and governance.
- Be a member of the Rural Professional Group of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors or the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers, or have aspirations to work towards these.
