Job Title: Hosting Service Manager

Location: Preston

Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 Depending on experience and skills

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Hosting Service Manager to join our team at BAE Systems. As a Hosting Service Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery and management of hosting services, ensuring high standards of technical services to our employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage supplier relationships, ensuring accountability for the management and delivery of contracted hosting services.
  • Provide service assurance from supplier to all business groups.
  • Deliver and manage change across hosting services, supporting the Tower Service Manager to meet required outcomes.
  • Owning knowledge and familiarity with hosting services and products under management.
  • Maintain and update service definitions documents for managed hosting services.
  • Contribute to monthly service reviews and internal reporting cadence.
  • Ensure service demand information flows between stakeholders and service capacity meets future demand.
  • Manage hosting service risks, communicating them to the Tower Manager to develop and implement mitigation actions.
  • Support customer and supplier escalations and complaints to effective conclusion.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of Server and Storage technologies.
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of current Server infrastructure and products.
  • Understanding of SIAM and ITIL processes.
  • Experience in stakeholder management, including various levels of technical competency.
  • Good understanding of contract management, including budgetary requirements.
