Team Overview

The Creative Building team operates within a newly established, VP-led organization called CreativeX, under the Amazon Advertising umbrella. Our mission is to democratize access to high-quality creative assets (image, video, audio) by leveraging generative AI technologies. Our clientele includes self-service advertisers, agencies, and premium brands advertising on Amazon.

To fulfill this mission, we are investing in cutting-edge generative AI, including latent-diffusion models, large language models (LLM), computer vision (CV), reinforcement learning (RL), and image and video synthesis.

Your Responsibilities

We are in search of a seasoned product manager skilled in innovating and scaling creative products. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in product management, with a preference for familiarity with generative AI, machine learning, or computer vision.

This role is highly visible and carries significant influence and growth potential. You will collaborate across various domains including engineering, science, design, marketing, operations, finance, and legal.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Understanding customer needs to craft an inspiring product vision for creative solutions.
  • Effectively communicating your vision and roadmap to leadership, partner teams, and clients.
  • Rapidly experimenting and iterating with scientific teams to identify optimal generative methods.
  • Developing and executing product roadmaps and delivery commitments.
  • Collaborating closely with UX to define the ideal advertiser experience.
  • Leading the go-to-market strategy for your product, including defining value propositions and key messaging.
  • Ensuring consistent improvements to delight customers.
A Day in the Life

Your daily activities will involve:

  • Engaging with customers, scientists, and partners to understand their needs.
  • Staying informed about industry developments and external trends.
  • Creating product visions and working backwards documents.
  • Reviewing engineering designs to ensure impactful deliverables.
  • Crafting compelling messaging that resonates with executives and customers alike.
  • Continuously enhancing product quality through diligent inspection and execution.

We are a highly skilled product and engineering team at the forefront of Amazon Ads' creative strategy. With team members located in various regions, we are passionate about harnessing the power of generative AI to address real-world challenges for our customers.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Proven experience in roadmap strategy and definition.
  • Experience in feature delivery and product trade-offs.
  • Ability to contribute to engineering discussions regarding technology decisions and strategies.
  • Experience advocating for diverse customers and stakeholders during executive-level planning.
  • Background in technical product management, program management, or engineering.
  • Experience with end-to-end product delivery.
  • Ability to bridge technical and business teams to refine requirements and ensure timely delivery.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with analytical tools such as Tableau, Qlikview, or QuickSight.
  • Experience in developing and promoting new tools.
  • Experience collaborating with scientific teams, with knowledge of machine learning, computer vision, or generative AI.
