Job Overview

NEC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our administration team in delivering exceptional services to vulnerable individuals in Wales. As an Operations Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the administration of large-scale operations, ensuring budget adherence and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Report to the Head of Entitlement Services and oversee the administration of large-scale operations, ensuring budget adherence and exceptional customer service.
  • Collaborate with the Entitlement Services Management team, sharing best practices and supporting colleagues to achieve business goals.
  • Manage all aspects of contract delivery, including performance, quality, and team management.
  • Develop strategies to enhance services and explore new business opportunities.
  • Network with partners to improve service offerings and maintain strong relationships.
  • Monitor and enhance performance targets, empower team members, and deliver accurate reports.
  • Identify and implement improvements to enhance profitability and staff development.
  • Represent the organization at external meetings to bolster our reputation and image.
  • Contribute to the company's commercial success and assist in HR-related issues.

Requirements

  • Must have previous experience in managing teams and delivering commercial services to government or social housing markets.
  • Demonstrated ability in profit and loss management, budget achievement, and business development.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on driving positive change and maintaining integrity.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and able to motivate and inspire team members.
