Position Overview

An exceptional opportunity has emerged for a Clinical Operations Manager / Nurse Practitioner within a prominent healthcare institution.

The individual in this role will be tasked with overseeing patient management across the hospital premises, demonstrating the ability to operate independently to ensure the seamless, efficient, and effective functioning of the healthcare facility at all hours. The Clinical Operations Manager/Night Nurse Practitioner will hold accountability for the site during off-peak hours, addressing patient flow challenges, staffing issues, and clinical occurrences.

The work schedule will include both daytime and nighttime shifts tailored to meet service demands.

Qualifications and Knowledge

Essential

  • Registered General Nurse
  • Degree-level education (commitment to achieving a degree within an agreed timeframe)
  • Evidence of advanced learning or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional development
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience in Practice Development

Desirable

  • Completion of an independent nurse prescribing course

  • Relevant post-registration experience at band 6 or 7 level
