About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Assessor to join our team at Maximus. As a Nurse Functional Assessor, you will play a vital role in conducting thorough assessments to determine the eligibility of individuals for benefits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of individuals to understand the impact of their disability or health condition on their daily life.
  • Use your clinical expertise to gather information and produce detailed reports to support benefit claims.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to manage caseloads and deliver high-quality services.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their unique needs and circumstances.

Requirements

  • NMC registered nurse with 1 year's broad post-registration experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse individuals and teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Comfortable working with a range of conditions, including mental health.
