Area Sales Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Area Sales Manager to join our team. As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and maximizing business opportunities within your designated area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and identify new sales opportunities and prospects in your area, actively promoting and developing new sales opportunities to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through face-to-face meetings, understanding customer needs, and providing exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Onboard new customers effectively and successfully, while ensuring close working relationships with existing accounts and recording customer information onto our CRM system.
- Work closely with our distribution Centre and drivers to create a strong team working ethos and deliver profitable volume growth.
- Monitor competitor and independent market activity in your area to ensure you are offering our customers the best solutions and insights.
Requirements:
We are looking for someone who has the ability to win new business and maximize sales through our existing customers. Ideally, you will come from a Field Sales/Account Management background and be commercially astute, technically proficient in Excel, and able to build and maintain relationships. A passion for sales is essential, and a food background is desirable but not essential.
