Position Overview

We are pleased to present a remarkable opportunity to oversee the Cashiering operations within the Financial Services department. The Lead Cash Management Officer will be tasked with supervising a dedicated team of Cashiers and Senior Cashiers, ensuring optimal staffing across multiple Cash Offices throughout operational hours. This position offers flexibility in location based on the selected candidate's preferences.

The Lead Cash Management Officer will collaborate closely with the Financial Services Manager to uphold stringent internal controls, ensuring compliance with cash management obligations and supporting the organization's financial reporting requirements.

Additionally, this role involves representing the finance department in various management and operational committees, working alongside senior management to achieve financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

The Cashiering team operates as a vital component of the Financial Services division, which encompasses Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, and Cashiering functions. The successful candidate will engage with other leaders within the Financial Services team to ensure seamless operations.

Core Duties Include:

  • Supervise the daily operations of multiple Cash Offices
  • Manage and oversee the organization's banking relationships
  • Ensure precise and timely documentation of cash transactions
  • Coordinate monthly and annual Cashier reconciliations effectively
  • Lead recruitment and retention efforts for the Cashier team, ensuring compliance with established procedures
