Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Transport Planner to join our team at the Culina Group. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for creating effective transport plans for our customers within our network.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Transport Planning
  • Manage and plan drivers, utilizing ongoing communication and our state-of-the-art transport software.
  • Control and plan an agreed amount of resource (vehicles, drivers, trailers); ensuring all legal requirements are adhered to (Working Time Directive and EU drivers' hours regulations).
Resource Management
  • Make regular use of in-house planning tools and systems to manage workload and monitor efficiency.
  • Understand and achieve key performance targets relating to the safety and efficiency of our fleet (including utilisation and costing).
Team Collaboration
  • Work closely with our drivers and other logistics teams to ensure seamless transportation operations.
Skills and Qualifications
  • PC literate, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Experience in an FMCG environment.
