Transport Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transport Operations Manager to join our team at YODEL. As a key member of our Transport team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our Transport Admin Office.
Key Responsibilities- Administrative Support: Ensure accurate tracking of driver hours and absence, and provide cover as needed.
- Scheduling Compliance: Verify the scheduling system is up-to-date and compliant with regulations.
- Driver Communication: Effectively communicate with drivers to ensure they have the necessary information to meet delivery schedules.
- Operational Performance: Continuously monitor and improve operational and customer service key performance indicators.
- Experience: Proven experience in a similar role within the Transport sector, preferably in a fast-paced office environment.
- Skills: Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with drivers and management.
- Desirable Qualifications: Good understanding of driving legislation, including operators licensing and WTD, and a CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence).
