Mobile School Crossing Patrol Officer

Permanent, Part Time

£12.10 per hour

Location: Countywide

Working Style: Community-based worker

Support your local community by working as a Mobile School Crossing Patrol Officer for Essex County Council.

  1. Consider the needs of people with disabilities, especially mobility-impaired individuals using the crossing point.
  2. Regularly assess the risks associated with operating at the crossing site to identify potential problems.
  3. Ensure uniform and equipment provided are maintained in good condition and request replacements when necessary.

You will need access to your own vehicle and business insurance, as you will be required to travel to and from crossing sites as needed.

As an Essex County Council employee, you will be required to register with the DBS update service if your role necessitates a DBS check.
