Job Summary:

We are seeking a punctual and reliable individual to join our School Crossing Patrol Team as a Mobile School Crossing Patrol Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess risks associated with operating at the crossing site and report problems and defects to supervisor.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports on accidents and failure to stop incidents and other incidents occurring at the crossing site.
  • Ensure that all uniform and equipment provided is maintained in good condition and replacements requested when needed.
  • Give clear signals to drivers when stopping traffic and ensuring that the traffic remains at rest until the road at the crossing point is clear of pedestrians.

Requirements:

  • Access to your own vehicle and business insurance is a must, as you will be required to travel to and from crossing sites, as required.
  • Ability to meet the mobility requirements of the role through other means if you do not have a driving licence.
