About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Theatre Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team at a Good rated, modern, purpose built Hospital. As part of our professional, friendly and compassionate team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standard of patient care.

Main Responsibilities

As a Theatre Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality perioperative care to patients, working closely with the anaesthetist and surgical team to ensure seamless transitions throughout the surgical process. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment, adhering to health and safety protocols, and contributing to the development of theatre procedures.

Requirements

  • Part 1 registered NMC Nurse or HCPC registered Operating Department Practitioner with experience in Scrub or Anaesthetics
  • Up-to-date knowledge of current research and developments in theatre practice
  • Sound knowledge of Health and Safety/Risk management within the operating department
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
